    E.G.W. Knife w/Leather Grip Fighting Trench w/Scabbard
    E.G.W. Knife w/Leather Grip Fighting Trench w/Scabbard. WWII E.G.Waterman commercial combat knife with 5.25" blade. There are different versions of this knife in size and style. This is the smaller & harder to find with a leather grip. Has an oval metal guard and butt. The tang extends through handle and has a heavy retainer wire through top of blade. Marked on blade 'EGW KNIFE'. Blade retains original configuration, point & edge, which also still has some original finish. The leather ring grip is complete and tight with couple tiny gouge marks-see photos. Pommel ring out of shape. Heavy leather scabbard may not be original to knife but is supple and complete with all stitching. Always study the pix-they tell best----. postage.
