These
"imperfect"
gourds were grown in my garden last season without any pesticides and left to dry on the vine.  They have been washed with soapy water, rinsed, then gently dried and still contain all their seeds.  Each gourd was measured for height (not including the stem), width across the widest part (diameter) and circumference measured around the widest part of the gourd.  These measurements for each gourd are approximate and are shown in the pictures as height (H), width (W) and circumference (C).
The pictures show the gourds you will receive; they are similar in size and shape and none of them rattle or will stand on their own.
I consider these "imperfect"
because they are lightweight and have some "caved-in" areas which I think is the result of the heat-storms we had here in southern California when they were developing and drying on the vines.  I think their imperfections add character and they can still be used for bird houses, crafts, in a wreath or swag, or even decorated as tree ornaments.  They come from a smoke-free environment and will be padded and shipped in a box via USPS First Class Package.
