Horstmann US Army Officers Model 1902 Etched Sword with Scabbard

Model 1902 Army Officers Etched Sword with Scabbard. T
he ricasso is marked "WM H. Horstmann Company" over "Philadelphia" over "Germany". The guard is a bit loose and the grip is tight. The guard is a little deformed, just one branch. The etched blade
has "US", an eagle, and other etched designs
, it has not been sharpened, the tip is a little sharp (the last 1/16" has a bend), it is mostly clean except for a few age spot
freckles here and there but mainly on the lower third by the tip area
. The scabbard is solid with no dents and it has nickel loss freckles scattered throughout with a little minor surface rust mainly in the lower half freckles. Leather washer is missing. Length of the blade measures 30 1/16" (13/16" wide x 3/16" thick), length of the sword is 35 1/2", and overall in the scabbard it is 36 1/8".
