    Description

    Here is an interesting piece that I came across. Fancy European style butcher knife Nickle plated with oak handle. Measures 11 1/2 inches long. Engraved DEUTSCHLAND ESSEN 1945. I am guessing this was made from the scrap metal that was a result of the great Essen Air Raid that occurred at the Krupp Works in 1945.   Has a crack in the blade and some flaking to the plating. I could not find another like it. Very cool. Thanks for looking.
