    Original WWII M3 trench knife made by Imperial. This is a nice late-war guard marked version with the mildew treated 8 groove handle and reddish plastic spacers. This knife is in excellent condition, except for some finish wear and sharpening of the blade. There is some slight wiggle in the guard, but the pommel is nice and tight. Can't see an ordnance bomb stamp on the pommel. Could be there, but faint. Handle is in great shape. It comes with a very good condition M8 Modified Scabbard. One side of the scabbards metal throat has been straightened to match the knife's guard as can be seen in the pics. Some corrosion to some of the snaps and rivets on the scabbard but nothing major granted the set is seventy some odd years of age.
