    Description

    Van Briggle Pottery Floral Vase, Shape 223, Green Curdled Glaze, 1906
    Rare early Van Briggle vase featuring molded flowers on slender curved stems. The exterior green glaze has a beautiful curdled texture, while the interior has a clear glossy glaze. Manufactured in 1906. Very hard to find piece.
    Condition:  No chips, cracks or repairs. Crazing on interior, minor crazing on rim. Tiny factory glaze pinholes on the textured outer glaze, larger burst bubbles on the inside where they are not visible.
    Marks:  AA Van Briggle mark, Colo. Springs, 1906, 6. The shape number is obscured by the glaze.
    Dimensions:  7" high, 3 1/4" at widest point.
