CAT# 614-1. VINTAGE 225Q CATTAGUARUS QUARTERMASTER FIGHTING KNIFE w/nice Reproduction sheath. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. This is a very nice example of the WW2 Cattaguarus 225Q Quartermasters Fighting Knife. This knife is extremely sharp so use caution when handling the knife! The stacked leather handle is solid though the finger guard has a little wiggle to it. Also the blade does have light pitting on both sides of the blade, but does not interfere with the soundness of the knife! The pommel is in very good condition for the age of this item. These knives were used to open ammo crates and what ever else they were needed for during WW2! The sheath is a close reproduction made by myself. The leather is just a little heavier than the original sheaths were. This sheath is brand new and will be stiff on arrival, but will form to the knife. It is made of vegetable tanned leather, has been dyed and is glued as well as sewn!
