Vintage WWII Case XX Folding Machete w/Blade Guard - Pilot Emergency Kit B2 & B4

This listing is for the vintage folding machete as shown.  I have not attempted to clean it, modify it, lube it, nothing, I am selling it as I found it.  The blade guard is there, dinged up, some rust spots, missing paint, etc.  The blade shows lots of edge wear, again I don't want to sharpen it, I would think most collectors would like to keep it original.  It folds and unfolds stiffly and it's a good thing the blade guard is there, because it's stiff enough that you might cut yourself otherwise.  There is a name very lightly engraved on the guard.  See picture #9 and you will see that one end of one scale is starting to separate just under the guard.  Not sure, but I think the handles are Bakelite or something similar.  Liner lock mechanism still functions well.  As you would expect from anything this old, there is some play when locked open, but most of it is inline with the blade, there isn't too much side to side play.  Length when closed is appx 11.5" and appx 15.65" long when open.  Weight is just over 1.5 pounds as you see it, without any packaging or box.  B
