    Description

Theater knives were usually made by the Navy as they had access to incredible machine shops on most ships during the war. They would generally use the windshields of aircraft for the handles and use the original blades from fighting knives or bayonets. This particular knife has a wooden handle and the blade from a Ka-Bar fighting knife. Someone did a very nice job.
This is owned by the former editor of Fighting Knives magazine and he said he never used it for anything except the publication of a story and to add to his collection. And now it's on consignment in my store. Check out the pics and have fun bidding.
This is on consignment so there are no returns, refunds, or complaints accepted.
This piece will be available available for sale locally at Hawthorne Cutlery and local antique and knife shows in the Portland, OR area if we ever have any again. Don't forget the huge Eugene knife show in April and maybe Dec. April has been cancelled.  For details visit OKCA.org. Hopefully the San Francisco sword show will still be held the first weekend of August, which may also be the first weekend we're all free of this mess. There's also a great Japanese sword show in Orlando on Oct 16th, 17th, and 18th. unless the Kung Flu virus comes roaring back.
You could bring the whole family to Disney World while you go to the sword show. Such a deal. Such a plan. Or leave everybody at home so you can buy whatever you want without the questions. Just got word that all the shows have been cancelled for this year. Thanks China.
