    WWII War Hero John I Binns (35765568) is recorded with serving as a combat soldier in 'Company D of the 353rd Infantry' as well as the '166th Engineer Combat Battalion' in the European Theater.

    This personal Legitimus Collins & Co 1942 Machete appears to be hand crafted with designs from the tip to the base where the machete would go. Binns did not bring his machete used to cut hedgerows in German however was able to bring his machetes cover!
    This cover is one of the many items brought back by Binns of the 353rd Inf. and 166th Combat Engineer Battalion. During this time he served in the Rhineland Campaign as well as the Ardennes and Central Europe. During his service over the course of WWII
    John I Binn was awarded 3 Bronze Stars, EAME Theater Service Medal, Good Conduct and Victory Medal. You will receive ALL of his personal items carried with him during his time with the Company D of the 353rd Infantry division and 166th Combat Engineer Battalion.
