WWII U.S. U.S.N. Mark 1 RH Pal 35 Fighting Side Knife With Leather Scabbard

This one has a unusual custom made suede like beautiful leather sheath. Vintage original well used U.S. Navy MK-1 knife. Blade is stamped RH-PAL 35 MADE IN U.S.A. Other side is U.S.N. MARK 1. This knife is in well used condition. There are many old pits giving it a gray patina. The knife has been sharpened many times. Shows the normal wear for this old a knife. Knife is 9-1/2 inches long with a blade length of 4-1/2 inches. This one has a leather handle that has some normal small dings on it. The pommel or butt is aluminum. Shape of blade shows it was sharpened and redesigned. Photo shows it well. Nice and tight, very solid. You can see this style knife in Cole's book and in Silvey's and in most WWII references.
