    Description

    WWII Original USN Mark 1 Knife and Scabbard.  Knife measures 10-1/8" overall with a blade length of 5-1/8".  Blade shows a gray patina finish with some light sharpening, wear. The first black washer by the cross-guard shows some loss, the fifth thin washer from the cross-guard is cracked. The handle is tight so the washers are tight and do not move.  Blade marked, "RH 35 PAL MADE IN USA" obverse side marked, "USN Mark 1". Very nice Gray scabbard with throat marked, "USN MK 1" opposite side marked, "NORD-8114 B.M. CO. 1/5 VP".   A nice original piece from WWII.    See photos for further details, clarification, and condition.
