    Description

    WWII US Boyt 42 Cloth Scabbard W/ POST WWII MADE IN JAPAN Machete 18” Blade. Scabbard is original from WWII but the Machete is not. Scabbard is cloth, and measures 19” long. It has a 4” long tear as seen in the pics but is in good shape otherwise. Machete is marked “Made in Japan” so it is not the original machete for this scabbard. Blade measures 18” and the entire length is 23”. Has some light surface rust and the blade does have a couple tiny chunks out of the edges. Wrapping on the handle is very old and I didnt want to remove it so I am unsure of the condition of the handle. It is not loose at all though. Estate find, comes as seen in photos.
