    Description

    Excellent, original, WWII US M1 carbine bayonet. Imperial made, marked "US M* IMPERIAL" on the guard w/ordnance mark. Just over 11 5/8" long w/the blade just over 6 5/8". Sharpened, w/a very good edge. Some odd, scattered pitting, more near the tip and it was VERY lightly touched to a grinder. A good amount of finish remains. the guard is tight. Leather grip shows minor wear, but is very good. Pommel is marked as shown and is clean. The catch works nicely and this mounts easily on a carbine. Comes in original, US M8A1 B.M. Co. marked scabbard that is also in very good condition. Very nice American bayonet.
