WWII US M1905 M1 GARAND BAYONET & M7 SCABBARD *SA 1918*

WWII Original US M1 GARAND BAYONET & US M7 SCABBARD
This SA Springfield Armory WWII Bayonet was originally a 16 inches M1905 bayonet made in 1918 that was cut down to 10 inches in WWII.  The blade is marked SA with flaming bomb 1918 other side US 850779.
It's marked on the back of the handle AFH American Fork and hoe which is the manufacturer that did the work of cuttung it down to 10 in. The Blade is in Very Good condition. The bakerlite handles are in good condition.  The release button
is in working order. The guard is a little loose.
Comes complete with a Nice original US M7 SCABBARD.  Its marked US with flaming bomb & the back has REP. The metal top was originally on a US M3 16 inch Scabbard that was cut down to 10 inch & became a US m7 scabbard.
This WWII US M1 US SA Springfield armory bayonet would be a great addition to one's collection.
