Condition:
The Bakelite training bayonet is in good condition. The catch is functional and easy to operate. Grips are black plastic and worn with minor scratches. Spine has some minor rust. Pommel and guard have no rust.
Blade is completely intact with no chips but there are a few small scuff marks, it is made of Bakelite. It has a spear point and retains a good shape tip. Scabbard is in good condition. There is a little bit of rust on the throat and surrounding area. It retains most of its finish with a few small scuff marks on the plastic. There are markings on both pieces. It
may need a light cleaning to meet your standards. Please see our photographs for a better understanding of the contents and its condition.

Unfortunately, the plastic muzzle ring is broken.
Somewhere along the line after the write up and before photography this happened. The bayonet in the photographs is what you will receive.
