Condition:
The bayonet is in good condition considering the age. Grips are black plastic and worn. There are no major chips or cracks, but there are some minor scratches and a minor chip by the guard.
There are no nicks or pitting on the blade. There is some very minor rust and the metal has oxidized on parts of the knife. Some of the finish has come off
.
The blade was originally a full size M1905 but it was cut down per new military standards during WWII. It has a break point and has a round tip. Scabbard is in good shape. It has some scratches and practically all the finish remains. The clasps are in good shape and there is no signs of rust showing in the throat area. There are a couple minor cracks towards the tip on one side. They may need a light cleaning to meet your standards.
