Condition:
The bayonet is in good condition considering the age. Grips are plastic and worn. There are no major chips or cracks, but there are some scratches.
There are light nicks, but no pitting on the blade. We don't see any rust but the metal has oxidized. Some of the finish has come off
.
The blade was originally a full size M1905 but it was cut down per new military standards during WWII. It has a spear point and retains the tip. Scabbard is in good shape with a couple very small chips from it. It has some scratches and some of the finish has come off. The clasps are in good shape, but there is some rust showing in the throat area. They may need a light cleaning to meet your standards.
