    Description

    WWII Imperial Bayonet for the M1 Carbine.  Bayonet measures 11-1/2" overall with a blade length of 6-5/8".  Good blade showing age patina, wear, some feathering/sharpening, two tiny nicks on blade edge.    Nice looking washer handle.  Excellent working press-stud,  Top of cross-guard marked, "U.S./M 4IMPERIAL", with flaming bomb ordnance. Slight wiggle on cross-guard,  The sheath is a post WWII Sheath, USM8A1 B.M. Co. See photos for further details, clarification, and condition. A good authentic piece from WWII.
